COVID-19

March 25, 2020

It is pointless to touch base on the consequences that this pandemic is going to have in all aspects of our lives, other than recommending for you and your family to observe the current official guidelines for personal hygiene, social distancing and quarantining.

In what is related to housing our recommendation is to carefully review all options before deciding to stop your mortgage or rent payments. We have heard of people who understand that those payments will be forgiven. They probably will not. Financial institutions will eventually push for normalcy in their businesses and taxes and insurance (along with a mortgage payment many times) will continue accumulating for landlords.

These are challenging times for all. And looking into the future seems some days as an almost impossible task. But it will come, sometimes sooner than we think.

We want to thank all our customers and readers for all the feedback and messages of the last few days. We are here to help!
